I noticed a new Jamaican restaurant while browsing Grubhub and decided to give it a try; big mistake. I ordered the oxtail rasta pasta - I received 5 pieces of oxtail, 5! The dish should just be called pasta because that's pretty much all there was. The pasta was tasteless. The oxtails were very small and the taste wasn't good. I ordered an oxtail and jerk chicken patty, and the sweet potato pudding cake. All three were gross. The chicken patty was the only decent food item that I ordered. I hate to degrade a restaurant like this but people are spending their hard earned money on mediocrity. Do these cooks and owners not taste the food they are selling? What is going on here? It seems like finding a good restaurant these days is like finding a needle in a haystack. It's extremely disappo

absolutely fresh, and delicious. Pleasantly surprised. It’s not often that I order oxtail, but I ordered it just to get the rice and peas because it’s almost New Year’s Eve and people think you’re supposed to eat peas New Year’s Eve. So Yummy Yummy.

This place will be my new vegetarian spot! So much flavor and delicious. The cook let me know a head of time how she fry her plantains which are important to vegan, pescatarian, and vegetarians. It's tucked away in the another store in the back. You KNOW it's good food when it seems like you can't find it. 😋 I normally fry my oyster mushrooms, this is something totally different.

I don’t mean to knock a small business but this is constructive criticism. The owner was nice but the oxtail was dry and tasted stale and there was no gravy whatsoever. Everyone knows the gravy makes the dish better! Even the butter beans seemed like they were just tossed in there and not cooked with the oxtail. I was very disappointed. Not because of the small portion, because oxtail is expensive. But at least make it tender and flavorful. 😩

First time here and was delighted with my experience. The service was warm and friendly, and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. The beef patties tasted like they were just made, they were flavorful and the crust was perfect. We also got oxtail empanadas and a jerk chicken dinners with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. I enjoyed the meal very much and will be back. Great place to get to-go dinner to bring home to the family.
