Customer Reviews
I had a hankering for some Indian cuisine, so I pulled out my handy cellular telephone, opened Google maps and searched for nearby Indian restaurants. I decided upon India's Oven Cuisine. The restaurant opened at 4pm. I arrived at 4pm and the doors were locked. We has to wait 5 minutes for the doors to open. The guy who opened the restaurant was not too friendly or conversational. We theorized that he was the owner and that the waiter had called I'm sick. That was just a guess. It too a while to order drinks, and took a while to order our food. We ordered appetizers and main courses. The restaurant eventually filled with patrons. Listening to their conversations they also had to wait a while to order food, beverages, and to receive their ordered said items. When the food arrived it was v
This was my first time eating Lamb Sag. The dish was savory and fulfilling. The Garlic Naan exceeded all expectations and the homemade pistachio ice cream hit the spot for dessert. This is the best Indian food I have had. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here regularly.
A really solid Indian restaurant! Stellar service! The food was good (bear in mind I have pretty high standards when it comes to Indian food 😅). The highlights for me was the karahi lamb ( so flavourful, not quite as herb-forward as I'm used to but I liked it a lot) and the aloo paratha. The palak paneer wasn't bad too, and neither was th biryani but, not great either. I'll definitely be back!
This family owned restaurant holds a special place in our hearts. The dishes are always such a treat, delicious beautifully presented. If you like beer with dinner try the Taj Majal.
The food is delicious, i am so glad we have authentic Indian food in the Belleville area. The potato naan is my favorite. I just wish the portions were a bit larger. I left wanting more
