Indian Restaurant

I'm not going back so I'm not able to snap a photo of the owner alone in the restaurant at dinner time watching tv. So here I'd like to resurface these 99 accurate reviews of the place that are buried under some paid advertisement.

Tucked away on lively South Street, this unassuming Indian restaurant turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We visited on Independence Day, and the place was packed with diners—always a good sign. We ordered chicken tandoori, lamb biryani, butter naan, matar paneer, and both salted and mango lassi. The chicken tandoori came out hot and smoky, with that perfect char you hope for. The lamb biryani was rich, fragrant, and generously portioned, with tender pieces of lamb throughout. The butter naan was soft and pillowy, great for scooping up the creamy matar paneer, which had a lovely balance of spice and comfort. SCAM 100% Do not waste your time ordering here. I placed an order for Tikka Masala (pictured here) that was 20% off. With tip, the order came to $21 and free delivery . After placing the order, I received the following the message from the restaurant saying "I ordered a bigger size" and the new charge is now $25.40 (pictured here). I never requested a bigger size and went to Uber Eats help for support where an agent named "Sandeep" said "it is what it is" (also pictured here). Where are the customer service skills these days...so disrespectful but Ill deal with that person later. The food arrives, so I was curious to see what this 'bigger portion' I supposedly ordered was. Amazing food, great service, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Good for a chill date night or solo dining experience!

I began my meal with two delicious samosas, which were crisp and had balanced flavors. They were served with two different chutneys. Next, I tried the Chicken Vindaloo, which was fresh and came in a very spicy gravy. Noticing the beads of sweat forming on my forehead from the heat, the server kindly brought me a small serving of sweet rice, the perfect antidote to the spiciness of the vindaloo.
