Would frequent, not terribly comfortable with tables for two so small one would have to "juggle" their plates to eat. Owners can be pompous unless you are considered part of the clique. Paying for limited parking up top 8pm outrageous to go there. Food average and overpriced for quantity. Significantly better authentic Indian food, value, and accommodations can be found 20 minutes later in Longmeadow. Worth the drive for the very best . Check it out.

Absolutely the best meal I’ve had in years. Every dish was balanced and full of life — the textures, spices, and depth of flavor were unbelievable. You can tell the kitchen cares about every detail, from the first bite of naan to the last spoonful of curry. I’m not throwing around words like “Michelin” here, but as someone who actually knows good food, this was close. Just flawless cooking. I left wishing I could taste it all again for the first time.

India House catered a family wedding this past weekend and the overall experience was top notch. We had a set time to pick the food up (for 65 people) 45 minutes before the ceremony and everything was ready on time. All food was tightly and securely packed for travel. The owners even loaded the car for us as we were in formal wear. The food was delicious. Appetizers/finger foods consisted of Samosa, Vegetable Pakora, Tangri Chicken Wings, Cauliflower Lollipops and Naan. Everything was hot and cooked just prior to pickup. The diverse flavors were excellent. Even when packed for delivery, the Pakora kept its crunch. The main courses were excellent and a great mix of mild and medium-to-spicy dishes. Charged twice for ice tea with “free refills.” The waiter clarified that free refills only apply to unsweetened and unflavored ice tea, and that the owner declined to change the bill. The waiter gaslit me, saying “this hasn’t been a problem before.” As an expensive restaurant, it is shameful for them to insist I pay for a $6 drink twice on a $80 bill.

Highly recommend this authentic 🇮🇳 Indian restaurant in Northampton. We were warmly greeted by kind staff immediately upon entering the authentically decorated India House! The atmosphere was very inviting and cozy. We were asked by staff how our meal was to ensure it was nothing shy of delicious. Staff genuinely care about their guests here, and it's apparent. The food was very tasty! We will definitely give our business here again. *please note: if disabled, there are stairs both into the establishment as well as internally to the restrooms on the second floor.
