This coffee shop is a true hidden gem with a wonderful ambience. The host was incredibly polite and welcoming, making the experience even better. You have to try the amazing cappuccino and the rich, thick Italian drinking chocolate. I absolutely recommend stopping by!

NEW no-tipping neighborhood cafe serving strawberry shortcake latte and delicious chocolate chip cookies in Journal Square. I really can’t stand tipping culture. I’d much rather see restaurants pay their workers a fair wage instead of shifting that responsibility onto customers. That’s why it warmed my heart to see Incontro Caffe stated that they pay their staff fairly right on their signage. They even removed the tipping screen from checkout. All menu prices are tax-included, and NO EXTRA CHARGE for alternative milk. More of this, please!! It’s not just a socially responsible community café. Since opening, incontro has become a staple to my routine in Jersey City. Great service each time with truly quality coffee and pastries. Feels like you’re in your beautifully designed living room, enjoying your choice beverage. The owners also do an incredible job of interacting with its patrons, constantly asking for feedback and even bringing events to the space (I.e. coffee tastings) to further exemplify their mission of building community. Best coffee spot in Jersey City!

They were fast and have fun flavors. The raspberry was fresh and I can def taste this was made with premium ingredients. I can’t wait to go back to try more

What a gem!!! I got the Hojicha Cacao Latte with pistachio milk and I had no expectations coming here, but they exceeded tremendously! The sweetest workers, the vibe, and the space was soo good and so cozy. Will be coming back to try more specialty drinks!
