In-N-Out Burger

It's another burger place, but with history and quirky traditions! Yes, we typically park the car somewhere in the giant shared lot out there in this big strip mall and we walk in to order takeaway. However, the tradition seems to be that you get to stay in your car and use the drive-thru whether the line is short or very long. About those burgers though! My fave is the Flying Dutchman, a bunless stack of onion slice, burger patties, cheese, and more onion. Oh it is so calorically tasty, let me tell you! Otherwise, the typical burger is a good-sized beast with a somewhat thin bun, real leaf lettuce, pickles, and so on. Their fries are like what you might make if you prepared them at home. This In N Out in The Colony is always consistent and worth the stop. My Double Double was fresh, the fries were hot, and the team kept the line moving with zero stress. The dining room was clean, service was friendly, and everything came out fast. You can tell this location takes pride in doing things right. Great food, reliable quality, and an easy choice anytime I’m in the area. I’ll be back for sure.

Great service.5 Star. In n out has service down. Order was prompt. Despite the long line it was very quick. 3 on atmosphere because I didn't go inside and don't know. Now, everybody for years has raved about how good this place is. I've had better burgers at a sysco supplied school cafeterias. McDonald's, despite it's reputation, and despite how much I dislike it, is somehow better. The burger was basically a soggy meat sponge. Flavorless. The fries were slightly tastier than salted napkins. After all that hype, it was an extreme letdown.

I came in at around 11:30 after a workout and I tried their lettuce burger with no buns but everything else on it as well as my usual double double. Staff was very busy but despite that, they were very warm and professional. I would like to recognize Zachary one of the team members for going above and beyond and ensuring that I got everything I wanted out of it. We had a great conversation and as someone who works in a customer service facing role myself as well in grocery retail, it’s wonderful to see people like Zachary who enjoy their job and engage with customers. Well def be back for more another time!
