Ilwaco Timberland Library

Glad the library is here, but it is VERY loud. It is clear no one reads their reviews because there are several others making this observation. Both sides of space have children's areas. Can't get away from the noise on either side. They could easily put in a glass partition to separate the kids' area from the rest of the library. It would be see through and sound proof. However, the staff members are the loudest of everyone. Also, they have a staff member who has no idea how to cover her face when she sneezes or coughs. Ick!

Helpful staff. Small, but full of words. I've been a bit put off by the plethora of pro Israel books at this library more than once. At least I was able to find one book on Palestine this time.

I wasn't here long (not a resident), I merely browsed the building and used the restroom, but I was impressed by the size of the library relative to the town size, and the bathrooms were immaculately clean.

I've been to this library 3 times to for a little work...I have to say, it is the loudest library I've ever been to. I decided to sit away from the children's section only to have loud screaming kids playing video games on the other side of the room. A quiet room might help for those that want to read or work without loud voices (library staff included). I really liked the holiday decorations and the bulletin board of local events, however.

The ladies that work there are always friendly. I can now print from home to their printer. I can order things thru the system. I just wish that I could use the computers for more than an hour.
