Illiano's Restaurant-Pizzeria of Meriden

The pizza at this location is deliciously made with a nice crunch to it. Customer service was friendly and prompt. The decor is full of antique items, which gives it a nice overall feel when you're dining in. I ordered a cheesecake and it didn't disappoint. It was creamy and rich in flavor, I'll definitely order it again the next time I dine here.

Ordered a large hot honey pepperoni pizza, and an order of garlic knots for pick up. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had to wait a few minutes for our pizza to be ready and the waitress gave us two free sliver slices of pizza for waiting. Plenty of parking available too. Definitely good pizza here!

This was a great experience. If you love pizza, you need to visit this restaurant. They have a big-mac pizza. I swear it tastes just like a big Mac. Our waitress was Maria she was great.

We ordered a large cheese pizza, a large margherita pizza, 12 wings (half bbq half buffalo). The cheese pizza was very greasy and truly tasted like pizza from Chuckie cheese. The margarita pizza was subpar and the cheese was only placed by the crust. They only gave us 10 wings.. the meat was dry and there was hardly any sauce on them. We were all very disappointed. I do not recommend.

Meriden doesn’t have “Great” pizza. I hate to say it as a native. If you want “Great” pizza you have to go to New Haven or maybe even Norwalk. I ordered: Grandma Pizza An old fashion style square pan pizza with a medium thick crust. Sliced mozzarella is placed on the dough first, then topped with marinara sauce, garlic and oil, seasoning, basil, and parmigiana cheese. The pizza here isn’t bad. I should have tried a traditional cheese slice. The flavor was there but not enough cheese. I love the prominent garlic. The poor waitress was also the front desk person and couldn’t balance and juggle all the customers/orders. I’ll be back and hope to change the rating upon that visit. (I took it home added more cheese and that improved it. However the cheese was suppose to be at the bottom so
