My Favorite Italian Restaurant in Pittsburgh — Worth the Drive Every Time! This is by far — and always has been — my favorite Italian restaurant in the city. Ron, the owner, goes above and beyond for his customers and is truly one of the hardest-working people in the business. His food is the most authentic Italian you’ll find anywhere — every dish feels like it came straight from Italy. We were in the other day and Emily was our server — she was fantastic. The service is always friendly, attentive, and makes the entire dining experience even better. In the spring and summer, the outdoor patio is absolutely beautiful — the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. In the winter, the cozy wine bar in the back, complete with a fireplace, makes for such a romantic and inviting atmosphere. I

Always fire. I wanted to come here more to collect vibe / product pics before review but I’m done waiting to post this. The whole setting is A1. I head to the bar in the back and enjoy the fire place, tentative service, and overwhelming quality. The dishes are always fast and plated beautifully; and if I gotta wait a few extra min or need to speak to the service about a potential issue, they are 💯 with their quality assurance (not that I’ve needed it ;)) everyone knows about this place but it certainly is a honey hole I keep close to my heart 💙 🍝 🍷

We ordered pizza and a calzone for takeout and paid $57. When we arrived, we paid and waited for the order. After waiting much longer than expected, I asked if it was ready. The workers asked the kitchen where the order was, and it turned out it had been just sitting there the whole time. The workers were laughing and handed the food with no apology at all. Also, the quality was very disappointing. I attached photos so you can see for yourself. We ordered a prosciutto pizza. What we expected versus what we actually received are two very different things. The pizza we got looked poorly made and nothing like how it should look or how it’s advertised. For the price, I expected much better service and food quality. Unfortunately, this experience was very unprofessional, and I won’t be comin

First I had the chicken parm and omg it was so good. The chicken is super delicious 😋, I couldn't stop thinking about the food, so then I came back 3 days later to try another pasta. Just wow 👏! New favorite place, I can't stop thinking about it!

May provided great customer service. She helped us whenever we had questions regarding wine selection. She went out of the way to provide service with a smile. Overall, she made the experience feel like we were at home. The dining experience broke the scale! 1000/10.
