IL LAGO Pizza & Pasta

Locals say Buffalo Chip’s pizza in Westwood is best around. I’ve eaten there 4 times and I don’t like their crust. Il Lago’s pizza dough blows their’s away; authentic and bubbly. Blue cheese Wedge salad is delicious. Staff is attentive, courteous and professional. I love this place. A+++

We had calzones each a different pizza combo. It is recommended to have a reservation here. This is a busy establishment. Eating outside would be recommended. As with a sitting bar inside it gets very loud.

First I want to say our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. I didn't get her name, but we sat in the first booth behind the wait to be seated sign, her friendly personality won me over right away. We ordered two dinner salads that were good. We also got one of the best pizzas I've had in all my 42 years of life. We ordered the Smoke Chaser, which came on a thin crust, chicken, bacon, green onion and smoked Gouda cheese drizzled with BBQ sauce. If you're in Almanor, check them out. The restaurant was very clean as well. They have indoor & outdoor seating available and a full bar.

Excellent service and delicious food. We sat on the deck and they allowed our dog to join us. They also brought out a bowl of water for her. Super thoughtful. I had the Alfredo with sausage and my husband had the turkey twist. Highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a bit on the expensive side, so perfect for a nice evening out.

It was the worst pizza in my life. I asked about extra cheese and got NO cheese at all. cold uneaten by someone, the pizza you can find near 7 Eleven is tastier. I'm glad that they didn't mess up with water.
