I loved eating here! The atmosphere was very inviting and I felt welcomed when I walked in. I ordered their 3 of their special nigiri (2 pcs each) and my friend ordered some stuff too. I would totally recommend ordering here and the chef was so sweet because he made me a nigiri w wagyu, uni, & caviar.

Three coworkers and I ate dinner tonight at Ikigai for the first time. We got there right at 5pm and it's obviously a popular place as tables were already filling up. The service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious! Our favorites were the tempura, edamame, and the sushi. Oh, and don't forget to leave room for dessert, some lemony olive cake. We'll definitely be back!

The food was outstanding, the lighting and interior were perfect, the sashimi and sushi were incredibly fresh, and after 40+ years of eating Japanese food, you still found it to be on another level—that's huge praise. Every dish felt like a work of art, the prices were reasonable (not overpriced compared to other spots), and you wouldn't feel ripped off at all. If someone criticizes it, they'd have to be clueless about real Japanese cuisine.
