Ike's Love & Sandwiches

Ike’s is usually a solid go-to, and I’m a fan of the Spiffy Tiffy. The sauces are delicious and the sandwiches are always packed to the brim. Plus, they have a student discount after 3pm and the two free candies that they toss in. However, this visit was a bit of a letdown. The bread and veggies weren’t very fresh, and the service was pretty slow. It’s still a decent spot for a filling meal on a budget, but I’ve definitely had better sandwiches.

What a great little sandwich shop in Santa Clara. The atmosphere is really cool. I loved all the old lunch boxes on the walls. Yhe employees were super nice and polite. This was my 1st time at any ike's but i will definitely be returning next time im near one. The sandwich was absolutely amazing and well worth every penny. Definitely recommend anyone to stop and have an amazing sandwich at this place.

This was my first experience with an Ike’s, and I have to say, it’s pretty good! They had some nice alternative/metal music playing (which I like), the staff were nice, and the sandwich was quite good, too. Definitely a solid spot to stop for a good bite to eat.

They had a buy 1 get 1 free offer and basically split the amount of meat they would normally put on 1 sandwhich between the 2. That's not really a deal. Just got an extra roll of bread basically. They used to be good.

Pretty sure I got food poisoning from this place. I got one of the chicken sandwiches. It tasted ok, but it was really slimy. Making me think the ingredients weren't fresh. I won't be coming back, I work as a cook so I can tell easily that the quality of the food wasn't as good as it should be and someone is definitely skipping steps as far as sanitation and keeping veggies and food safe enough to eat.
