While in Austin we stopped in at @ikessandwiches – Great Hills (Austin, TX) Ike’s Love & Sandwiches is a go-to spot for bold, overstuffed sandwiches with tons of personality. The shop has a fun, casual vibe, a big menu with creative names, and plenty of options for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Multiple items on the menu are Halal aswell. Everything is made to order, and the Dutch Crunch bread with Ike’s signature Dirty Sauce really sets these sandwiches apart. We ordered the #9 Name of the Girl I’m Dating, #6 Hot Momma Huda, and #1 Elvis Kieth, and all three sandwiches were fresh and absolutely delicious. WOW! I was not expecting to want to write a review about a sandwich shop, but here we are. I was craving a sandwich and stumbled upon Ike’s by chance. At first, I was slightly overwhelmed by the huge menu, but the inventive variety is incredible— I definitely want to come back to try more! I settled on the #18 with what I assume is Dutch crunch bread and the default dirty sauce with lettuce and tomatoes. I felt like it took a little longer than other fast-food sandwich joints to craft this delicious meal, but it was well worth it! I also thought the prices were a little on the high side, paying homage to the chain’s California roots; however, this was justified by the quality. I was in Ikes yesterday around 4ish. I love this store. I was greeted when I walked in, the service was exceptional and my sandwich was made just like I asked. The staff was beyond GREAT!! Ikes has the BEST staff!! I will definitely be going back & referring any & everybody to go!! Thanks Ike's y'all are the BEST!!

It was a beyond amazing experience! The store manager, Ray was very helpful and patient with us while we looked and helped us narrow down our options as we love many of their sandwiches and there was additional valentine sandwiches to try. We tried their new sandwich called, I’ll be your valentine and I said yes, please. It tasted delicious, I wonder how they get all their sandwiches so perfect every time!

I recently visited this place and had a great experience. The food was tasty, and the quality was excellent. There were plenty of options to choose from, along with a wide variety of sauces. We ordered a few sandwiches, and the Handsome Owl was my favorite. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
