IHOP

Just left this place. The food was good. The service was fine. The table was dirty, the syrup tray was Nasty! And the bathroom was Nasty, specifically the toilet. When we entered there was only one other customer, our waitress set us across the room which was great, trying to avoid other folks during flu & COVID season, then she seated another couple right next to us. I mean there were plenty of open tables. When I mentioned the table was dirty she was about to offer to clean it but I already had sanitizing wipes out, I just wanted her to be aware, I mentioned the filthy syrup caddy and she said "I only work 2 days a week, not sure why they are all dirty" and "sorry about that" and walked away. We spent $65 We won't be back.

I had a sandwich and the hubby had the Big Steak Omelette. We were both very happy with our food. It actually looked like the picture in the menu. The service was okay. She only had 3 tables so it would have been nice for her to check back, or make eye contact. I would have asked for a couple napkins. Nothing major. I used the restroom and while it was clean, there was no TP in my stall. Luckily I had my purse so I had some tissues with me.

No disappointment? I was upset i didnt eat in because of how nice it was inside, i think thats AI that responded. EAT HERE! Food was hot. Sealed in a really cool take out tray. Left on the counter though so essentially getting cold. But it was where you can see it so its whatever. Tied up really nice lots of condiments and had utensils. The resturant was very clean im upset I ordered to go ill sit inside next time.

Table was sticky, asked for coffee brought me a full cup and took my coffee pot. That was $3.69 for 1 cup, had to ask for refill. All the Ihops I've been to you get a 2 and half cup pot. Then my wife ordered 2 eggs scrambled got over easy. Eggs ,sausage, pancakes were all cold. Syrup jar was empty. Sugar packs for my coffee were saturated with water. We come to Appleton Wi. Once or twice a year, we will never go here again.

While I enjoyed the friendly service, the food was quite poor. Eggs were rubber, bacon was well undercooked, and everything tasted like it was waiting way too long to be served. I honestly wouldn't come back for half the price we paid.
