Ida's Classic Confections

My wife ordered me a cake for my birthday. I love carrot cake, but it’s hard to find a good one. Not something that seems to be too common any longer… Long story short, this was one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever had. Very moist, good texture from the nuts and a little soft pop from the carrots. Simply Amazing!! ! We also tried their Chocolate Chip and Snickerdoodle Cookies and their Banana Nut Muffins. I’ve never been much of a fan of snickerdoodle cookies(wife loves them), but these were very good. Soft and chewy and just a good cookie. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing, slight hint of slat just to enhance the flavor of the chocolate. The muffin was moist and had a great banana nut flavor. Pretty much everything we received was extremely well baked and delicious!!!

These bourbon cookies are an absolute delight. I ordered them for a bourbon tasting and they were perfect. From the first bite, you get that perfect balance of warm, buttery sweetness with a subtle bourbon taste. The texture was spot on. Soft and chewy in the center with just the right amount of crisp. They paired perfectly with the eggnog.

I ordered 6 dozen shortbread cookies for a party at my home. Daniel texted me photos of the baking process which were unexpected and appreciated. His passion for classic baking is clear and I will be back for more, especially his sourdough bread!

Simply amazing. Daniel's baking is exceptional and, more importantly, consistent. I'm a big fan of his snickerdoodles, so order them if and when you can!
