⸻ We visited Ichiban Seafood Buffet in Springfield, PA on January 1st, 2026, to celebrate the New Year, and it turned out to be a great way to start 2026 with family and good food. The restaurant was busy due to the holiday, but the staff managed everything well and kept the buffet running smoothly. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, especially for seafood lovers. We really enjoyed the crab legs, which were refilled frequently and tasted fresh. The shrimp dishes—including fried shrimp and garlic shrimp—were flavorful and well cooked. There was also a good selection of fish, mussels, clams, and seafood stir-fry, which made the seafood section the highlight of the meal. We are from NYC. We came to meet some friends, so they chose this restaurant. WOWWW WE LOVED THIS CHOICE. Where we're from we don't have many like this. We all loved it. All 3 of us from NY loved this place. All you can eat. I must of went up 4Xb. I'm small but I eat a lot. Omg the choices. I couldn't believe it. They are soooo lucky that I was on some what of a diet because of it was back like a year ago I would have ate soo much more than what I did. I mostly ate a bit healthy. Fish , crabs , sting beans, a tad of pasta , salad , fruits . There's even a chef that will cook u stuff on the spot. Such a great variety. Just beautiful. Extremely disappointed with my experience at Ichiban restaurant. Not only did I find a chicken feather in the chicken wings — which is a serious hygiene issue — but when I politely raised my concern, the waitress responded very rudely. She said, “Either you eat this or you can leave the restaurant. This is how we serve food.” That level of customer service is completely unacceptable. There was no apology or willingness to resolve the issue. I expected better food quality and basic respect as a customer. I won’t be returning and do not recommend this place.

Great selection of both western food as well as different Asian dishes! Price is high but as long as you’re able to eat enough to make it worth your money! There is always something else you want to try but you’re stuffed first. We come every year for thanksgiving so we don’t have to cook!

Food was good, had a great time with my family. We asked some lady to take our pictures she asked another staff and before the staff could take our pictures she stood with the phone in her hand cursing out the other lady who involved her. I personally thought it was funny, but im weird like that. The room we was in was cold though,I guess they don't want you too comfortable lol. Would go again especially for the part I can make my own rice and noodles 🍜
