Ice Cream on Grand

I was surprised at how beautiful the landscaping is behind the store. I have been driving past the place for the past few months. Finally got a chance to drop by and try their ice cream. They have plenty of flavors to pick from. Staff at the store are very welcoming and very pleasant. They were patient enough to let me try multiple flavors. Ended up getting a scoop of Maple Walnut. It is pretty tasty and not too sweet. So definitely a worthwhile visit and will be back again. I understand that the quality and the maintenance of the place coupled with the prices of the ingredients drive the prices, but still the ice cream is on the pricier side of things. That wouldn’t hold me back from visiting the place again though. They have ample parking spaces behind the store and beautiful bench sea

Finally got to try this place since it’s only open during the winter, as far as I know. The ice cream was delicious—I had the pistachio, chocolate seduce, and strawberry flavors. There was an extra $1 charge for the pistachio, but it was worth it. They also have a lovely backyard where you can enjoy the garden while you eat.

A popular ice cream bar in Englewood that works only in summer months. The main vending area in air conditioned and has counter sitting, in case the outside heat in too much (it is, in summer). Outside seating area has umbrellas but in afternoon when the sun slants, it is not much of a shade and becomes very hot. Limited parking - so you may end up having the ice cream in your car! Kids single scoop portions with sprinkles will set you back $9.30 while a triple scoop is about $11.

It's such a beautiful place. And their ice cream is extraordinary. I can't eat it anywhere else anymore.

While the ice cream is delicious, $11 for a one scoop waffle cone is ridiculous. Yes, they give you a rather large one scoop, but that’s fine - give me a smaller scoop and don’t charge me this crazy price.
