Highly recommended. We needed to close on a house out of state, and needed a notary public to witness the signings. Ian came highly recommended and I would second that. He was very responsive, very professional, and a nice guy to boot. He accommodated our admittedly extensive COVID precautions very graciously. He made sure our documents got mailed (he did it himself), and followed-up to let us know there weren't any hiccups. Fees were competitive. If you need a notary, hire Ian.

I needed a last second notary for an out of state construction refinance last month. After a recommendation from one of his peers, I contacted Ian Stewart on a Friday night and he agreed to perform my notarization the following morning. I was working in Canada at the time, so I drove 4 hours south to Syracuse to meet him as he was the only person available. During the signing, Ian caught a mistake on my documents, that would have cost me my closing date had I had mailed them across country as-is. After catching the error, he stayed available for me the rest of the morning as I chased down the title agent to provide the corrected paperwork. Ian was able to assist us on very short notice and provided thorough and expert support for our remote home closing. His knowledge of the mortgage documents, including our mortgage lender and the VA loan process, were instrumental in the process and worth every penny! He was able to work with the lawyers directly and stayed with us through the entire process keeping the entire transaction smooth and simple. Very accomodating and approachable. Had to find my own notary service agent for my closing package. Last minute but was able to meet and Ian was really good with explaining. Highly recommend if looking into notaries.
