HYDERABAD TANDOORI

My husband and I were staying at a hotel while passing through NY and this lovely restaurant was across the street. The atmosphere was lovely! Our server was so hospitable and kind. The food was so delicious and flavorful! Best Indian food we have had in a very long time! And the chai was perfect! We can’t wait to be back soon.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely the Best Biryani in the USA! I am a tourist from India and have been traveling across the USA with my family for the past 6 weeks, all the way up to Alaska. Today we landed in New York and, with a flight in the evening, we searched for good Indian food nearby. That’s when we found Hyderabad Tandoori — and what an unforgettable discovery! After weeks of missing true homemade flavors, we were genuinely surprised and delighted. The food here tastes just like home, something we couldn’t find anywhere else during our entire journey across the States. The Hyderabadi Dum Biryani is simply the best in the entire USA, not just New York — rich aroma, perfect spice, and authentic Hyderabadi taste. The owner and staff, especially Shoeb, were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

My sister and I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and also garlic naan bread and it was all so yummy! The service was hard at first because the English speaking waiter wasn’t there yet as we arrived right at opening. But both servers were nice! The English speaking one educated us on what Hyberabad meant! The food came out so fast!

The place is small but cozy. The service was good, and the staff was friendly. The food portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. The biryani was particularly tasty.

Had such delicious mouthwatering food at this place !! This is my second time here ! If you are craving Indian food late night then this the place !! They open late upto 3 am !! Even at this hour they made a super delicious chicken tikka sizzler for me with yummy butter chicken curry with naan and rice !! After a long day of hard work it was so wonderful to get such a delicious meal late at night on my way back home !! They had a nice seating area too with a giant tv and ambiance!! I truly enjoyed stopping by here . They said that their biryani is their special too but I didn’t order biryani today . May be next time !! And above all thank you for being open this late at night !! 😍
