Hy-Vee Market Grille

Slow service. 25 minutes for a breakfast order to arrive on a Thursday morning. I overall like the concept...order at the deli counter and they bring the food to your table. It's the same price as the Cafe down the street so it doesn't seem like Hyvee is winning on price with the Cafe. Lastly, the bacon was terrible--burnt and cold. The pancakes as well as coffee were well-made however.

Most every time I order chicken fried steak skillet it's wrong. Every time the over easy eggs are over cooked and this is the second time I've ordered sourdough toast and end up with rye. It's kinda sad because the South Side location knocks it outta the park and I don't wanna drive 20 minutes for breakfast lol

I would like to recommend the options, Buffett,Deli, Italian or Chinese food, or the Menu, The prices are reasonable, and the Restaurant is clean,you are always welcome ,the staff are friendly and I had no problems with the cleanliness of the Restrooms, I go in and someone would wiped down my table,and hand me a Menu, along with clean silverware. You pay at the Market Grill and Express,get your food in the Restaurant, or walk in take your seat,and someone will come, wipe down your table, and hand you a Menu, Reservations are not Required, But if you want to, you can make Reservations anytime or Sunday Brunch.theres a kids menu all day.

Good place if you don't feel like cooking. For the last several weeks the quality of the steaks have declined for the Thursday night steak dinner.

The lines to pay moves to slow I rather do self check-out but they only take cards and I had forgotten my wallet so I only could of pay with Samsung Pay
