Hy-Vee Market Grille

Took my family out to eat. Most of things we asked for they didn't have. Examples Asked for wings didn't have wings asked for pasta of the day didn't have pasta of the day. The lady at the check out lacks friendlyness & kept rubbing her eyes .we Ordered 2 pizzas & garlic bread to eat in the dining area & the Garlic bread was not fresh it was cold. Went got mash potatoes & corn for our kids to eat as a side dish & there was other food like noodles for the bin next to the mash potatoes mixed in our potatoes. Our cheese pizza was quite burnt. We to drinks from the fountain pop station & it was dirty & trash next to it is over flowing.. my daughter wanted hot chocolate & the hot chocolate machine did not work. The elderly woman eating next to the fountain drink station says the coffee do

A group from anywhere between 4-10 peoepe come here to eat breakfast after church every Sunday. Today is the second time I have never received my meal. Got my money back but wasn't even offered an apology. Piss poor service here. They need more help or better trained employees

I don't like there new format. Order at the bar. They used to seat you and a waitress would come take your order. There new format is like going to a fast food restaurant. Terrible idea. I won't be coming here for breakfast anymore. One waitress on duty. If you pay with a debit card. You need to put in your tip. Before you even decide how your service was. Waitress was already having a bad morning. Definitely short staffed. I did like coming here. Not anymore.

The food is the freshest- delicious, generous portions. You have to wait on yourself. No waitress. You order at the registers in deli. There breakfast’s are terrific. A fair price.

We tried the grille out for the Sunday nfl games. First time awesome. Second time service was almost nonexistent. Today we walked out without ever being acknowledged. They offer the NFL ticket but have no one available to serve anyone. We took ourselves to another bar/grill. Won’t bother again.
