Hy-Vee Market Grille

I was here for a complimentary Veterans Day breakfast buffet and returned a week later for a made to order breakfast with my young daughter. The service was prompt and very friendly. The menu items were broad in choice and very reasonably priced for a surprisingly good quality, prepared very well and flavorful. Menu specials can be an exceptional value. The dining area is large, well lit and easy to get around the tables and chairs. The seats, booths and tables are generous in size and would make a nice place for families or a meeting. Do yourself a favor and stop in to see and taste for yourself. The last pic I share is an $8 breakfast an a child's French toast.

Food is good for what you would expect. We stop infrequently for lunch and I have not been disappointed. People behind the counter are always friendly. Atmosphere is low simply because it is a grocery store...though they do have a small area to sit and eat, we always grab take-out. Food is a limited selection of any one type of food (some Pizza, few main dishes of chinese, some side sushi...) but there is enough selection not to get too boring. If you want something quick an better than fast food this is a good place to go.

We occasionally go for trivia night. Half price appetizers, drink specials, and good friends. Very nice place with good food and not too pricey. I can even pick up some milk on the way out!

BRING YOUR $$$$$$ CAUSE THIS PLACE IS EXPENSIVE. I WOULD SUGGEST GOING SOMEWHERE AND ENJOYING A STEAK OR RIBS CAUSE IT WOULD BE MUCH CHEAPER. What a RIP off. Take my advice stop at your local bank before coming to the hy-vee deli.

Great prices. Local drafts. Slow service or hard to find. During peak hours its great!
