Hy-Vee Grocery Store

Always the best. Nice staff, great on the go food, always well stocked. And the supporting of the community during the government shut down has me forever supporting Hyvee. Thank you!

I honestly only go to Hy-Vee for their hot and fresh Chinese food. Im addicted to their pineapple chicken 😋 the prices here are higher than all the other grocery stores in the area so thats why I dont tend to shop here for groceries. Your cooking crew over there are doing great.

This location is great for a quick shopping trip (not fresh produce though, more on that later) for essentials and deli. The food at the deli is always fresh and delicious. However, their portions did decrease I’ve noticed. This location unfortunately does not have good options for fresh produce. Big majority of the vegetables displayed are wilted, half rotten, gone bad, etc. If they have something on sale it is probably because by the time it gets on your countertop it will no longer be good for consumption. Sadly I’ve experienced that way too many times to keep buying produce here. I’ve noticed this store has been always tidy and clean, friendly staff with warm smiles. Its a small hyvee which is nice and easy to navigate. They seem to constantly be out of something I need that day. Always seem to make a stop down the road at coborns for something hybee didn't have. Also was very difficult to get in touch with anyone about catering or bakery options when planning larger events.

Though we have 2 grocery stores in town, I find this store to not have alot of product that is on sale. Very limited qty. If you dont get there on the day of the sale and first thing in the morning, your out of luck just to be honest. For example dt pepsi caffeine free. Typically they may carry 6 ( 6pk bottles) on the shelf. When its a sale on this particular product, they may bring in a few trays and that is it. When asked i was told repeatedly pepsi controls how much they bring. I got to say, they have a say to communicate with their distributors and request that more be brought in. Just an example of one item. I do find that on other items, but this is ongoing problem with our Hy-Vee in town. I just find myself going to both, because of the lack of high inventory that they seem to be
