Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

What happened to this place? Was here year ago and was pretty decent. From the first sticky step inside(literally sticking to the floor). That should have been my sign to walk out. Went to bathroom to wash my hands and it was pretty nasty and the light switch was busted up. Staff was nice and polite. I normally eat in but was just turn off by the sticky floors and bathroom so got it to go. On the way out noticed the 92 food score. My cheesesteak was soggy and made with cheader cheese(thats on me should have ask just assumed it provolone or white american). It did however have a decent amount of meat. Next the BLT. It was pretty good and had good amount of bacon. Probably will not return intill something have changed, mainly that food grade.

What once was a brand new building with checkered floor and a retro vibe, now it is a run down place with very sticky floors. I am not sure if it is the glue from the old floor that was not properly removed, or the fact that the floor was dirty. We ordered a BLT and a cheesesteak sandwich with large fries. The size of the BLT was good for the price, and it had a lot of bacon in it. The cheesesteak was in a hot dog bun almost, and not really worth the almost $11 for it. The fries were more of a medium size than a large, and were $3.99. What really bothered me was the 92 sanitation score, with a cook not wearing a beard guard. The place looks really run down, both inside and outside. I know that there aren't many choices in this area, but I will not be back.

We absolutely love this highway 55! The service was phenomenal, thank you Brittany for providing us with great service at the window which is very rare these days! For three people we paid about $30, the price is reasonable, the food is good and the service is great!

Im giving this location three stars because the food has consistently been good, and most of my past customer service experiences here have been positive. However, this specific experience was completely over the top and honestly horrifying, which is why I can’t rate it higher. During a visit around noon, a female associate which I later found out her name is Taylor K. was rude and dismissive from the beginning. When I tried to place my dine-in order at the counter, she brushed me off and walked away. After she overheard another customer and me comment on her attitude, she became defensive and escalated the situation instead of de-escalating it. She then told another employee not to take my order, loudly complained about dealing with customers, said she hated customers, and repeatedly ma

Stopped here to get a concrete after dinner and was very disappointed. Drive thru line took a decent amount of time. The amount in the concrete seemed like it was less than 1 scoop of custard mixed with the toppings. Taste was good at least but not for the price.
