I stumbled upon this place and I figured I’d give it a try for a little snack during our adventures in DC. My partner and I arrived around 9:45ish pm. The bartender, Ray, was very helpful and insightful about the menu. After sitting there for about 10mins the A.C., videos on the tv, and the music came to an abrupt stop. After ordering we sat for about 35-40mins (in the heat) to finally get our food. We tried the deviled eggs and the oxtail dumplings. The deviled eggs get a solid 2.5/5 stars due to lack of flavors, how many you get (which is 2 very small eggs) for the price, and how long it took to come out. The food was delicious. We enjoyed every bit of the dish. Our waitress was great but I forgot her name. She was very calm and soft spoken. Will definitely come back.

Someone recommended this spot and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious. Ayana was so welcoming and personable, and was a gem in entertaining all our questions. The atmosphere, service, and food all lend to an enjoyable upscale casual vibe. This spot will definitely be one I visit regularly!

Food was outstanding!! Got to get the brussel sprouts. Some of the best I have had. Jerk chicken and jollof rice was extremely well seasoned and had a kick to it. Excited to come back and AWESOME portions! Service and our waiter and manager were awesome. Can’t wait to eat some more at home!!

Omg!! This place is amazing. Our server Uranium was amazing. This experience was exceptional. The music, the vibe the aesthetic is incredible. I got the red snapper as my main meal 🤤 #🇭🇹approved
