Hunter's Seafood and Market

I was looking for some fresh shucked oysters. I love to cook and actually have a food truck- Queens Cuisine, based out of Virginia. From a great referral from Leslie at Libbey’s Restaurant across the Bay Bridge, I was sent to Hunters Seafood. Wow! Great service, informative and all-around friendly folks!!! I met Sarah and Joe ( who brought out his guitar and played a little Pink Floyd!!) who were. Super nice and I could have stayed there all afternoon!! Taking home my ’Chistmas gifts’ of shucked local oysters, some of their premade crab balls and they hooked me up with some shells to present my fried oyster with. Love their vibe! Rock on with your bad selves!!!! Will definitely be back to source some great local Seafood for my Queens Cuisine Food Truck!!!

I saw someone post about Hunter's Seafood on Sunday and decided I'd give them a try. Called my order in, phenomenal prices, great crabs- full and very tasty, corn was on point. I had to wait about 15 minutes but it was well worth the wait. I will definitely be going back to get more crabs and try some of the other items on their menu.

Our crabs for Father’s Day were awsome!! We live in Bowie and it was well worth the trip over the bridge. The staff was very friendly and helpful😁

Having received a newspaper with The Anchor Drop at Hunter's listed With specials, my son and I decided to walk through the neighborhood and check it out. We were pleasantly surprised with some delicious lobster tails, hush puppies, and fresh coleslaw and a very cool concoction of a bloody Mary with enough crab meat at the bottom for me to put On my pasta at home for the next day, I’d say we made out perfectly! Love the little Inn; turns out the proprietor built the end and I want one at my house. Too cool-thanks again :-)

New owners are personable and kind. In the beginning the food was just “ok”, but now the food is amazing! Great atmosphere and great quality food right from your back yard! The seafood quality is great! I highly recommend Hunters!
