Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs

Being a pizza snob I generally prefer small mom and pop type pizza joints but I was proven wrong. My first time to Howie’s and I get the Detroit cup and char, great dough, crisp but light. The cheese wasn’t my fav but still good. Glad I’m in town for a few months

I ordered a pizza and got the wrong order. I called and since I ordered door dash he only offered a refund, which I said no because I had hungry children at home who wanted pepperoni. Since it was ordered through door dash I asked if he could make it a large and I’ll pick it up and he said yes. When I got there my order wasn’t even started on and I asked if they can remake my second pizza since it will be cold by the time the other is ready. He was rude and laughed about it. Genesis gave me the pizza with an attitude and gave me the order I had originally ordered and when I asked about the large she said she was only giving me what I had ordered. I picked up my pizza and payed with a fifty dollar bill. The boy behind the counter told me it was counterfeit and wouldn't accept it as he continually called me "Bro" even after I told him I wasn't his bro. I left without my pizza. The next day I took the bill to the bank and they confirmed it wasn't counterfeit, but real. I'll never do business at that store again!!

We picked up the most soggy pizza ever! The liquid oil was floating in the bottom of the box. We took it back and received a refund. We were so disappointed. Nasty pizza and sub sandwich was the same. Like it was not even cooked. Now I never want to order another thing from there. Sorry.

They close before 10: 35 on Saturday but the doors are open They don't pick up the call because for some rason at 10 pm the phone doesn't work .
