We were passing through town and stubbled on this cute breakfast restaurant! We got the buckwheat pancake, veggie scramble and the brown sugar oatmeal. Both we're delicious! The eggs were cooked perfectly and fresh veggies were used. The pancake looks burnt in the picture, but it wasn't! It was flavorful and fluffy! I'm always seeking out buckwheat pancakes and this did not disappoint! The service was wonderful, friendly and quick! The prices we're reasonable too!
I am celiac, I went to Hungry Bear because of the reviews and by the menu they had gluten free options. I knew there would be a risk of cross contact (one I knowingly took) but because new to visiting Woodland Park finding a knowledgeable place to eat at... i was struggling. With that I placed my order mentioning multiple times that I was gluten free. The server even went back to check and verify if an ingredient was gluten free. My meal came out woth a flour tortilla on it. When I addressed this it was met with, "Oh, I can just take that off." Remember i said celiac. I said I would need a new dish. Same dish came back with a corn tortilla on it. This place is not gluten free friendly nor did our server take the time to hear me when I attempted to talk with them about gluten free. Not a gr
It’s a cute place to stop by the food was delicious and hot chocolate thank you to Jenifer who served us she was nice and sweet 😊
If your up visiting the mountains west of Colorado Springs, this is a good place to visit for a tasty and filling breakfast that’ll warm you up and fill your energy tank for whatever activity you have planned thereafter. The decor is quaint and emphasizes a happy bear theme. Be prepared for a slight wait as the place is very popular. The food orders are processed promptly, but the service is a bit slow as the place always appears to be full and the waitresses are more than fully occupied catering to all of their customers needs The portion size is good for most things except the meats. From the reviews I was expecting two large plump sausage links to be served with my pancakes and eggs and was disappointed to get a couple of links each smaller than my pinky. I also found the meal to
After the long line we ordered lunch from here. The waitress ripped a cup from my kids hand while he was asking for a refill. The grilled cheeses we ordered weren’t even cooked correctly, on top of everything else you have to pay $10 just for them to give my kid craft Mac n cheese. This place is a total rip off.
