1000/10 BEST CHINESE IN THE VALLEY!! Or maybe even ever?? I’ve never been a Chinese food person but this place changed me I crave this shiiii WEEKLY!!! My fiancé is a Chinese food fanatic & he’s said many times this is the best food he’s ever had. Literally SO CHEAP TOO!! You have to try it for yourself to believe it I’m not even kinda kidding lmao

Hunan Villa is a great family-owned restaurant that serves up huge portions and amazing value. I got the lemon chicken dinner plate, which came with fried rice, chow mein, soup, an egg roll, and a wonton — all for under $13! The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and the lemon chicken had the perfect crispy texture with just the right amount of tangy sauce. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. The portions are generous, the prices are unbeatable, and the service feels personal. If you’re craving classic Chinese food from a family-run spot that cares about quality and value, Hunan Villa is the place to go.

Update 6/25/25: still 5 star, it's crazy how much food you get for the $10 lunch special. There is not a single item that I've disliked here. Lately I've really been enjoying the orange peel chicken Update 4/24/25: still a super delicious and worthwhile place. I asked for the walnut prawn lunch combo but was charged for and received the full dinner size version, which is honestly no big deal since it's all delicious, and I don't mind splitting it into a second meal to enjoy later. I overheard another table of older white women complain to the girl at the register about the price of the meal but they were told they ordered the dinner combo when they thought they asked for the lunch combo size Portions here are pretty great. It also seems they forgot the walnuts for the walnut prawns, but

We ordered a to-go order, and it was ready exactly when they said it would be ready. It was still very hot after we arrived home. All of the food was really good and had great flavor. We will be going back again.

The food here is incredible! I would say best in Oakdale and I pretty much tried them all! The food comes out hot and delicious in a very large portion. Your dollar goes a long way here. This location is very busy with takeout but does offer dine in. Nothing too fancy ambience wise, but great service and yummy food.
