Hunan

A great stop for quick dinner. Food was good, service and ambiance super. Had assortment of appetizers, won ton soup, sub rangoond and ask egg toll. Very B pleased they served a strong black rea....

I want to give this place a HUGE shout out. I originally ordered from them thru door dash and door dash only delivered part of my order on friday. I called door dash and they said it was reported that my order was delivered so they couldn't do anything. So I called Hunan's in hopes to just get the food that was forgotten. They sent out my food with a driver. after an hour i called to check on the driver and he was super close. when he delivered the food he informed me that he ran out of gas on the way to deliver my food so he walked to deliver it and that he let his manager know so that they could remake the food and deliver it again. I asked that they just wait til monday to deliver it again as i was going to be off work in 30 mins. as soon as he left they delivered it and told me

Placed an order for carry out. Pan fried dumplings were decent, not the best in town. Also ordered the “on the lighter side beef with fried rice”. The fried rice never got fried, it was just white. Ew. The beef was grey and tasted like it had been expired for at least 2 days. When I called to inquired about rectification, he took my name and number and hung up on me. Cool. Won’t do this again. Update: after hanging up on me the second time, I drove there. I was able to get a cash refund but the way he spoke to me was crazy and unnecessary.

I didn't dine in, i used delivery so i can't comment on anything but the food. I ordered the Chicken chow Mein and an egg roll. The egg role was tough as old shoe leather. As for the chow mein...it was basically chicken and cabbage in broth. In the discription cabbage wasn't even listed as an ingrediant, let alone the main one. Their were no bamboo shots, no onion, no bean sprouts. It was like Chicken and cabbage soup. Disgusting. Never again.

Best Chinese, I've ever had. I've been dining at Hunans for decades. Hunan's, Grand Island, sets the standard in Chinese food. The food is exceptional. Service is great. Always clean.. I highly recommend Hunan's, Grand Island and Karney.
