To say that the food, service and Atmosphere was 5 stars is and understatement. Our server Michael and his team were just exceptional. This is the epitome of what you expect when you go to Waldorf Astoria. As a native Newyorker I can tell you that not only did you uphold the Waldorf Astoria reputation but you exceeded it which I thought was hard to do. Now to the important stuff, the food was absolutely amazing. We started with the Venison Lumpia and Ahi Agua Chile which was as classic as you can ask for. They didn’t try to reinvent the wheel but kept to the classic chili water and then embellished with perfect accompaniments. My wife had the Scallops which were cooked to perfection. An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food was truly outstanding—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between fine dining and comfort, making the whole evening feel special without feeling stuffy. Service was attentive and gracious, and the cocktails were excellent. This is the kind of place you plan your trip around. I loved the ube brioche, lilikoi butter, Red Snapper and dessert especially! I’ll absolutely be back.

While celebrating 39 years together, we decided to have dinner at one of the nicest restaurants in Maui; Humuhumunukunukuapua'a. We've dined here before, and together with it's absolutely beautiful island ambiance, ocean view, surrounding waterfalls, excellent service and memorable tasty dishes, it doesn't get any better than this. Driving into the Grand Wailea, parking is easy. Pull up to the Valet and they park your vehicle for you. Valet parking is validated at the restaurant. The walk to the restaurant is a bit lengthy as you will need to walk into the hotel, then exit to the left down stairs leading to the lower outside levels. It was an incredible experience! My fiancee and I went to Grand Wailea and want to enjoy some local Hawaiian food, we decided to go to Humuhumu. Our waiter Bryan was amazing and introduced us about the menu. We finally decided to get two fish dish dishes, the pacific snapper and the daily catch, and a signature pork belly starter. It's our first time tasting Hawaiian local food and the fish dishes are fantastic, they are very different and special, the meat tenderness and sauce is very flavorful, and they blend well together! Not to mention the beautiful ambient environment, the restaurant is above a lagoon and we can see colorful coral from where we sat. We had an incredible dinner at Humuhumunukunukuāpua‘a! The service was outstanding — honestly some of the best we’ve ever experienced anywhere. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had our drinks out almost immediately. We started with the crab cakes, which were absolutely delicious — crisp on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. For our entrées, we had the salmon and the catch of the day, both beautifully prepared and perfectly cooked. My wife felt the dishes were a little on the salty side, but that was really the only minor complaint from an otherwise fantastic meal. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with excellent service, great food, and a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.
