Hummus Kabab & Grill

Delicious! I ordered the chicken & beef shawarma platter. The rice had a little heat to it which I love. My husband had the lamb over rice. It was so tender that it slid off the bone. The baba ganoush was good & the creamy hummus was awesome. The lentil soup was tasty but did need a little salt. The waitress was friendly & helpful. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes.

Not an authentic Yemen food. Not even close. Mandi is of the Hadhramaut region in Yemen. The spices used in cooking this dish for the flavor and aroma can’t be mistaken and is specifically and specially used in cooking this dish. It is my favorite Middle Eastern dish so I know how a good authentic and well prepared Lamb Mandi or Chicken Mandi should look and taste. The atmosphere felt like I was in Cairo, Egypt. Where in majority of restaurants the Koran is played really loud regardless of if it’s Ramadan or not.

Great local spot, but they need to pay attention to the DoorDash orders. For instance, I received a notification that my order was ready, and when I went to pick up my food the little girl (receptionist) said they are preparing it. I waited for awhile for no reason because my order had already been prepared, sitting on the table while my time was being wasted. It took one lady to recognize that before I could leave. Poor communication and poor customer service.

We’d give a five stars as the meats and rice were incredible tasty but the salads are not like the typical Mediterranean, no feta cheese or olives, the dressing was very plain and the the portion was very very small. There was only one server and we ordered as appetizer grape leaves and we waited 15 minutes for it, then the very small salad and we continued waiting. Finally the rest of our order arrived and everything was very tasteful, great flavors. My husband had to get one more skewers to feel satisfied. It’d be nice that the salad would be a nice portion for the price. We may comeback to try again.

Excellent authentic middle eastern food, the service was so fantastic, they were so kind, truly the best Arabic food I have had in the south.
