Hummer House

Our family had a lovely time there. Very close to nature. Go down to the ruver and kayak and bbq down there. Its so serene and peaceful. Loads of hummingirds, deer, and glorious trees and flowers. Its an experience for those who know how to be respectful of beauty.

My husband and I have wanted to come see the Hummer house for a very long time . I said let’s go . We spent two nights and I could have spent a month there. The hummingbirds are amazing little creatures and we got to see hundreds of them up close . The owners Cathy and Dan are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet . So happy this place is close enough so we can make a day trip to take in a class or two through out the season .

This place is heaven for a wildlife photographer. We went with a group of 8, including one small child, two days, and everyone had a great time. The Browns allowed us to set up anywhere we wanted, arranged to leave the bathing sprinklers on after the sun came out, and provide multiple golf carts to roam the ranch. This was my second visit, already talking about the third.

My daughter and I went just to observe the hummingbirds. A little disappointing. We saw maybe 4 hummingbirds, and lots of bees. The gift shop is nice and very clean. The people were super friendly.

Cathy is the absolute sweetest. I was having my wedding over at Christoval Vineyards and looking for a place for the whole bridal party to stay so we could be near the venue. This place was absolutely beautiful, perfect to fit everyone (one cabin for the groomsmen, one for the bridesmaids, one cute little one for me and my new husband). And all of the cabins were well stocked to help us with all of the wedding prep and aftercare (rolls of cinnamon rolls in the fridge and coffee were a lifesaver the morning after), and Cathy was so flexible and accommodating. The cutest little bed and breakfast with the sweetest owners, I can’t recommend it enough.
