*RED ALERT* My elderly mother was referred to this firm by her investments broker and has used them the past few years. She has always paid for her service when she arrived to collect her completed taxes and never had any reason to have to deal with them until the next tax year. 2025 has been a changed year for her and I have begun taking over more of her errands, bill paying, etc. I picked up her tax papers in April 2025, paid with her credit card, got a receipt and carried on about my day and delivered mom's papers to her... About 1 month later (or so) she received a "due" bill from Humke & Hage. She paid it then mentioned to me later in the week, maybe month, that she thought she had already paid them?? I agreed and said, "of course you did or else you wouldn't have received your paper
