Just had a slice of their blueberry coffee cake that i bought at the Coop in Arcata. Mind you i am not eating sugar presently, but it looked so good i just had to get it. it was amazing, so good and so high quality that i just had to exclaim “foodadido”, my first word when i was a babe. Now i’m 60 and not embarrassed to have done so in public. Top marks!
This place should be registered in the National Register of Extraordinary Bakeries. And if there isn’t such a registry they should start one just so they can enter Humboldt Sweets. Go into an average bakery and you might find a nice loaf of bread. The bakers here make a large variety of the most delicious baked goods sold anywhere.
Their muffin tops are the BEST (favorite is blackberry, then raspberry with white chocolate, and blueberry is good too)!!! The cinnamon pecan rolls are amazing too!!! We drive from Santa Rosa to Fortuna to buy their goodies!!!! Of course we share with our loved ones also
