I have eaten here many times. But tonight was different. I ordered a combo which I don’t usually do. It came with an eggroll. I went home, ate some of the chow mein I bought and then decided to eat the eggroll. First bite in and there is a long black hair cooked into the egg roll. I couldn’t eat anything more and spit it out. When I went back the next day to show her, all she offered me was another eggroll, to which I said no. Then she gave me my $2.50 back for the egg roll. Not an apology not a refund for my meal.
I love everything about this place!! It's old school style food and done just right. The people here are wonderful and kind folks that cook incredible food. It's very reasonably priced and the quality is first class. the chicken is real and white. Not those flat weird gray pieces that look like they were run over. The egg rolls deserve praise. Look closely and notice there is no oil build up on the ends. Every bite is good. The gravy is like Thanksgiving quality. The chicken fried rice is heavenly. I just can't say enough!!
I thought I would help this restaurant because they do not have a website. The only pictures you can see are from other customers so I took pictures of all of our food. We were very happy with the choices and we both felt like it was really good flavors on each different entrée. We got the chicken lo mein, the beef with mix vegetables, the pork egg foo young, and the pork fried rice. Two appetizers, the steam dumplings, and the eggrolls. My favorites were the steam dumplings with the excellent sauce , the white meat chicken lo mein, and the pork egg foo young. The sauce was authentic and have great flavor. The eggrolls are kind of boring and taste so like any other restaurant, but I was happy with the large servings and prices were amazing. They really should have a website with current p
**Cash Only** This is your typical Chinese take out spot. The sesame chicken and beef chow mein were delicious. The cream cheese wontons are TINY! They put about a marble size of cream cheese in the wonton wrapper.
First time there. The beef sub gum chow mein was a five, but the oil used to cook the egg roll and the shrimp appetizers sadly tasted a bit rancid. Perhaps I caught them at an off time. They had a steady stream of customers. It is a new business, and maybe they are just getting their feet wet. I could hear the woks clamoring in the kitchen so I know the items are cooked fresh.
