Hug-Hes American Kitchen and Catering

Was pleasantly surprised. Hidden gem in Odgen Utah. Service was friendly and on point. Portions are on the smaller side, but everything was delicious. Got the fish and "chips" (sweet potato fries). They were cooked perfectly and delicious. Deserts here are amazing. Worth a visit.

EDIT: We came back here for dinner and wanted to compliment Tanner's service tonight. He was an incredible waiter, very kind and attentive. The food was also great! The food and service were great today! I loved the turkey bacon pesto and my wife thought the chicken Alfredo was great! I was impressed by this restaurant and will be returning!

If you are looking for a great experience in a clean restaurant with friendly and attentive staff - this is not the place. The service was extremely slow - 30 minutes to get our food when there were only a few other tables with 2 people and you could hear the staff in the back having a great time. The place had food, wrappers and silverware on the floor and the walls and booths looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite sometime. The best thing I can say is the food was mediocre. Not at all what I expected from a Hug-Hes.

Yum! We ordered the build your own appetizer basket with cheese curds, fried mushrooms and sweet potato fries and they were all delicious! Also chips and salsa which is more like a pico, still super yummy with the cheese! And finally the French dip in ciabatta, way better than having on a baguette! The only down side was our waiter was super dull and probably didn’t want to need there that day, sometimes that happens! Everything else was great!

There genuinely aren’t enough good words to say about hug hes. Their summer salad is TO DIE FOR and when you get the salad as a to-go order, not only are you getting the salad, you’re also getting a cookie and 2 slices of bread with the butter along with it. Well worth the price and just so. SO. Good!!!
