Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - St. Augustine

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WORTH the $$$ The chicken here was straight gas! super flavorful, tender, and seasoned just right. The fries were cooked nice and tender with a good crisp, and the bread was toasted perfectly with a buttery taste that paired well with everything. The ranch was honestly one of the highlights, rich, milky, and packed with flavor, making it a perfect dip for both the chicken and fries. On top of that, they had a really nice fountain drink selection with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, I had a great dining experience here and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a tasty and satisfying meal. Also had a very clean and nice bathroom.

I love this place. The people here are incredibly friendly and my order is always correct. And also always comes out fast and there is never a long line. The quality of chicken is always top notch. Probably frowned upon to mention a competitor in a review, but I have always been a Chick-fil-A snob, and ever since this location has opened near me I now prefer Huey’s. There is a young lady that often helps me at the window and she is extremely sweet, I wish I got her name. I think she has a pretty color in her hair. Anyways great place, and I prefer it to Chick-fil-A or Zaxby’s. The quality and consistency beats them every time.

We had never heard of this place before and decided to stop by while we were in the area. It's good and we enjoyed it. They have good sauce options, which sets them apart from similar quick service chicken places. Plus, they are particular about the area of the chicken that they serve to ensure the best quality. If we come back to the area, then we would consider eating here again.

We finally decided to try this place for dinner after seeing some positive reviews on Facebook- staff was fairly pleasant; however even after mentioning that this was our first time here - gave us no recommendations- my wife tried the tenders but was not offered what sauce she wanted & I tried the Buffalo chicken salad- nice amount of spicy- drinks were very disappointing- sweet tea was not good- chicken was tasty so we will likely try again

The chicken tenders were all right but not piping hot and juicy. I was kinda bummed out that they charge extra for a tiny cup if sauce when you're buying chicken tenders, it's not like they were seasoned just right to not need any kind of extra zing from a sauce ,that I feel should be included with the chicken tenders considering that's their signature food. I would definitely still go back but I'd just bring my own couple teaspoons of sauce.
