Huey Magoo’s Chicken Tenders

Me and my wife enjoy a wonderful lunch here. I had a Spicy Chicken sandwich meal it was a 7/10. My wife has a chicken tenders meal. She said, if you like the spice it a 7/10. We dined at the outside tables. Which makes for a good first date area.

A little surprised by the hype around Huey Magoos. Today I got the 4 piece meal that includes fries, toast, 1 sauce and medium drink. Great value as I paid $11. I got the spicy magoo dip which basically just tasted like hot sauce. They also included some ketchup which was nice to have in addition. The chicken was very juice and cooked JUST enough. But unfortunately the chicken and the fries were just bland. I just simply was not impressed. The food overall was decent but nothing that moved me or anything. I am willing to try something else on the menu though. Staff was quick and friendly. It is also important to mention they dont have a drive thru, just a mobile pickup line or you can go inside.

Good luck with his location seems like the Macon has set in. Second time I've picked up at those location. Portion sizes are not the same as when you're in store. Called and spoke with the "Manager" who informed me when you get fries and chips it's two half portions. 🤔 I guess she wasn't trained to well. Definitely not worth the money. Just another average chicken place.

First time going to eat here. Order a 7 piece chicken basket. Well actually after we waited 15 minutes for 1 to go order we got it. And they had a total of 9 customers in the restaurant plus that was the ones waiting also. Well got home they forgot my cole slaw. Ok not a big deal. The chicken is over salted and the sauces are definitely not home made like they advertise. The Texas toast sucks. More like French toast. I literally squeezed out grease. Not a good start to only being open a month. I definitely will not be back. Wasted 13.00 but lesson learned.

The workers greet you when you enter the restaurant. The cashier was very helpful suggesting what to try ,since it was our first time. But the food was very bland. It was fresh and hot, but it really didn't have any flavor. The doors wouldn't stay closed because the wind kept blowing them open. So it was quite cold in the dining area. This was definitely not a great experience for the price for chicken tenders and fries.
