Hudson Public Library - High Plains Library District

This library is such a gem!!! We visit weekly - the kids play area is perfect for babies-6 years old, they offer weekly paper crafts for kids to make, have an amazing selection of real, living books for both kids & adults (think classical education, etc), staff is wonderfully friendly & helpful. This place is a must for homeschoolers & families who just love to read good books!

Best library in the region! The staff are friendly, fun, and engaged! The events are great for my family and kiddos and the MakerSpace is so cool, you can get help making anything - like these stickers of my kids faces 😂. Also, the people who take their kids here are nice, I always leave with a new friend ❤️

My family and I love this library, it is truly a gem. They always offer fun and interesting programs for all ages! My toddler loves story time and the play area, and I love their small but wonderful collection of books. They have a great craft room, and offer yoga and fitness classes too! The staff is always so kind and helpful; it is such a positive place to visit and spend time. It’s a little bit of a drive for us, but always worth the trip!

What a great library! They were hosting a Prime Time event, plus children’s activities while I used one of the classrooms for a meeting with some community agencies. It is a beautiful library with a ton of great resources posted by the front door.

Absolutely love this library. My oldest enjoys the crafts. My younger boys live story time. And they all love the play section. Great selection of books/dvds for kids. I've been able to find pretty much every book I've wanted so far. Library staff is very helpful and kind. It's probably one of my favorite places to go with my kids.
