Huddle House

"We Have Waffle House At Home" It is quite rare for me to feel compelled to write a review for a restaurant. I only do so when the experience is exceptional. And my experience at Huddle House was exceptionally awful. I arrived around 7:00pm to a relatively quiet dining room of about 8-10 other patrons. The server behind the counter politely told me I could sit wherever I liked. I found my seat and waited. After nearly 10 minutes, I helped myself to a menu in the wait station next to my table. A few minutes later, the waitress found her way to the table and apologized for the wait. She got my drink and took my order. Which was, out of sheer curiosity, the ribeye steak with texas toast, mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes with gravy as sides. After about another 15 minutes, I received my food.

The only complaint I have is it felt like an ice box. Waitress was on top of everything even handle a “difficult” customer professionally. Onion could have been sautéed for Patty Melt. Overall a good experience will visit again.

Let me just say do not order the grill cheese. They fried my wings too hard after I asked them not to. My daughters said their food was good. One had a smash burger the other had stuffed hash brown omelet. Maybe I should have did that. The waitress was very friendly. The experience was okay.

Scrambled eggs were incredibly runny on my & my coworker's plates. My country fried steak was cold when it came out, the gravy was already congealed. Waffle basket was extremely crunchy, almost burnt.

Give Amanda a raise! She's a phenomenal waitress. Very attentive, fast, and friendly. The only complaint I have is my OM eggs were a little OH instead. But the food was still great.
