Huddle House

During my stay in Abilene, I google searched a Waffle House but did not find any. Huddle House was the next best option, and to my surprise surpassed my expectations in both the food and service. Although I over heard that they were under staffed, our server went above and beyond to providing us with exceptional service. Our food arrived in a timely manner, and our drinks were refilled before they even finished. Definitely recommend!! Edit to add, that it's my new breakfast favorite spot whenever there is one available.

Stopped in and was pleasantly surprised! The staff was very friendly and very attentive to their customers. The food was very good and the atmosphere reminded me of a coffee shop I'd have gone to with my grandfather in the 60's and 70's. I'll definitely be stopping here again!

I ordered to go. Food came out very quickly. Staff was very pleasant and food. Let me tell you I ordered the chicken strips with two sides. Salad side was a meal within itself. The strips were done to perfection and the the hash brown casserole well let's just say I could eat it at every meal. It was that good. Perfect! Awesome experience! Food was absolutely awesome

I usually frequent Huddle House for breakfast, only. But for today, I dined in for lunch. Grilled Chicken with mash potatoes and salad, including the brown gravy was pretty tasty. Thanks to my server Melissa.

To me, it doesn’t matter whether it’s morning, noon or night, it’s always breakfast time! The menu is huge, and the service is always great. If you join their email Club, you collect points for free food, which is always a good thing! Every so often, they put out coupons, which is what we use tonight. A $14 breakfast for $8. That’s a steal! It’s always good food, so I never have anything to complain about. You should give them a try!
