Huck’s Tavern

Came here for the first time with my family and we had an overall, ok time. We've heard alot about the place, but the food we got was pretty dry and the wait was pretty long. With that being said, I definitely see potential and will be back to try again. The pretzels and beer cheese are amazing though.

Stopped in March 2nd and had the best chicken sandwich we have ever had. Also had some cowboy beans that were incredible. Very friendly atmosphere and all the customers around us were talkative and friendly. We plan to go back soon and hopefully on a Thursday as we were told they do fresh grilled burgers then!! Highly recommend!!!!

Dropped in for a late lunch and were very hungry. Huck's was almost empty so we were seated promptly. Server/bar tender was friendly. I asked for a ginger ale and was told they didn't carry it but offered a ginger beer instead. Ordered a Lock 37 salad and the jambalaya special. The food came quickly and that's when we found out this place was not to be taken seriously. The salad was served on a paper plate. Really. A paper plate? The jambalaya came in a small ramikin. No bread. Just a small bowl that was gone in a few spoonfuls. It tasted great, but was pretty small even for a lunch special. The physical space is nicely renovated. Huck’s was the perfect place to host a birthday party! The food and drinks were amazing, and the service was top-notch. A special shoutout to Christi for reserving tables and making the planning process so easy. Highly recommend for a great night out or special celebration!

Very nice bar setting with a great drink listing. Does have a small food menu mostly with different types of hot dogs and flat bread pizzas. Does have good appetizers. Recommend pretzel bites with beer cheese. Salads are kind of small but everything on it looks and tastes very fresh.
