Huck's Catfish

Best fried catfish I’ve ever had in my life! Absolutely fantastic. Everything is good — hush puppies, garlic/bacon coke slaw, ham and potato salad…EVERYTHING! Our server was wonderful!!!

Fried catfish was bland if consumed without drenching it in lime and tartar sauce and pickled relish. I didn’t like their bacon garlic coleslaw but loved the creamed spinach . The staff was very attentive. The place is very large and spacious and definitely accommodates a lot of customers.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — the perfect mix of Southern comfort and family-friendly charm. Our waitress Sadie was absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The owner even stopped by our table to check on us, which really shows how much they care about their guests and the quality of their food. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Huck’s Catfish to everyone! 🐟👏

100/100 — Always an incredible experience at Huck’s Catfish! The food is consistently delicious, the service is warm, and the whole atmosphere feels like a true local treasure. This place is a gem in every way. And if you’re visiting from out of town, make sure to head just down the road and check out the Frontier Village & Museum! (Honestly, that place deserves just as many reviews as Huck’s! 😂) Both spots together make for the perfect Denison experience. Especially if you love history antiques. You will be blown away!! Also 100/100! Highly recommend!

My cousins have been telling how good Huck's Catfish was. They assured me that it was worth the 50 minute drive. I was expecting outstanding fried catfish. I was so disappointed. It was bland. I grew up eating cornmeal coated fried catfish with amazing flavor. The service was awesome and the price was good. But the catfish was not worth the drive.
