I took my daughter out to eat 1 October this month, The waiter was amazing so she still earned her tip, but the food was quite bland, and my plate was dirty. This made my stomach hurt really bad because there was nothing crusty hard and green that should’ve been on my plate. It was very busy and I completely lost my appetite for the food.
As someone who loves breakfast and has eaten southern style food...this isn't it. Yhr lab technician had recommeded Huckleberry's since my daughter hadn't eaten to do the blood draw. Let me start with the food. The food was flavorless. The eggs tasted worse than powdered eggs and it didn't matter what I tried to add to them. The french toast was saturated in butter making them soggy. The chicken for the chicken n waffles was bland. FYI they use seasoning in the South. The service we had was horrible. The waitress came to our table a total of 4 times. She dropped off the drinks that were in huge mason jars without straws. I had to ask the food server for straws. Waitress quickly asked how the food was, and then i had to wait for ever to have her bring us our check. If I wanted bad food,
We came here for breakfast. The place was relatively spacious and had very comfortable booths. We could get breakfast or lunch. The bloody Mary was about the best I ever had. Our food came out quickly it was very hot. The server was very nice and accommodating.
Server was welcoming and attentive. Food was good portions but taste was lacking a little. Nice breakfast spot to hit every once in a while. Nothing stands out too much but nothing is bad either.
Went here with an empty stomach, came out FULL! Our table had breakfast, lunch, and brunch and we were all satisfied. Our coffee drinker was happy with his cup of coffee and asked for a refill. Kids loved the pancakes and bacon (kids menu). The Po Boy Sandwich was huge and hit the spot. The Gold Medal Chicken and Waffle with two eggs (anyway you want it) was delicious. Reasonably priced for the portions, which was nice. Great value. Will come back. Had to wait 20 minutes (out of 30) because it was a holiday. It was worth the wait. The staff was friendly and attentive in all of the chaos.
