Loved my visit to Hublersburg Inn! That burger bun alone was incredible—probably the best I’ve had anywhere. Add all the fresh toppings, and you’ve got a burger done right. Honestly, it gives me confidence that everything on the menu is amazing. I’m already excited to try the fish and chips, cheesesteaks, and the Reuben next time. The service was great—friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal enjoyable—and the atmosphere is comfortable and casual, perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. It’s one of those local spots where the food, the staff, and the vibe all come together, making you want to come back again and again. If you’re looking for a tasty burger or something hearty from the menu, this place is a must-visit.

This place never disappoints! I got the Dakota burger and it was absolutely delicious—juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. And the sweet potato fries? Seriously the best in the area—crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. The quality here is always consistent, which makes it a reliable go-to whenever you’re craving a hearty, satisfying meal. The vibe is casual and welcoming, so it’s perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner with friends. Ate here on a Saturday around 4pm. Ample parking and quick seating. Had outside seating but was a bit chilly and ate inside instead. Beautifully restored inside and very rustic but elegant. Order sweet and spicy wings which were too spicy for my wife but I thought they were normal. Otherwise they were great. Got the crab meat nachos which were packed with goodies and flavor. I got the pork schnitzel from the Oktoberfest specials. Pork was fantastic and breading crunchy. The hot potato salad had plenty of bacon and balancing vinegar kick. The red cabbage slaw was a bit tame for me and quite neutral in flavor. Otherwise it was all very good, quick service, and very filling. Cozy atmosphere, great staff, and equally good food. Will return for sure!

This place was really good. I had the Cobb salad but had grilled chicken instead of bacon. It was very fresh and light.

Hublersburg Inn is a hidden gem right outside State College that’s well worth the trip. The large parking lot is a welcome sight and makes arrival stress-free. Walking in through the front, you’re greeted by a friendly host and bar staff. To the right is a cozy bar, and to the left, an indoor dining room. Out back is the real highlight, the patio. It’s hard to imagine a better spot to enjoy a meal and a cocktail. A stunning tree stretches over the patio, providing natural shade and adding to the relaxed, scenic atmosphere. The grounds are beautifully maintained and add to the overall charm of the place. The food was excellent across the board, and the staff went above and beyond.
