The best wings and mumbo sauce in NE DC. The Chicken Lo Mein was just okay. This place is cash only but there's an ATM inside. I ordered at the window and waited about 10 minutes.

Had to give this place a try. We got chicken and house fried rice. The chicken was cooked well, it had a nice church to it and tastes really good with the mambo sauce. The house fries rice was okay. I would have liked more flavor

The food was good. I would come back. The chicken wings were pretty okay, coming from a New Yorker, I have higher standards. Mumbo sauce was good but the highlight are the black pepper and salt on the fries. I’ve never purchased it this way before. The area is a bit sketchy with obvious drug addicts lurking around, but I paid $20 roughly for this dish. I was in the DC area one weekend and decided to come here. Soda cans are also $1.25. The menu is listed on the wall or the bulletproof glass as well. Pics are below. Mumbo sauce is good and I’m glad I was able to try it for the first time. Overall, solid 4/5 rating. Service is meh, nothing much to say and I was the only person ordering.

Authentic, no-frills, all-flavor DC carry-out food, with fried chicken wings, original-style DC mambo sauce, fried rice with plenty of onions and bean sprouts, french fries made as you ask with salt, pepper, ketchup, a steak and cheese with seasoned meat and plenty of fillings, I prefer getting it with everything and hot peppers, and it was the nostalgic, savory taste I'd been looking for since loving in DC and moving to VA 10 years ago. This spot has great food. Make sure you have Zelle or cash, they don't take credit cards and there's an ATM inside. I got a half steak and cheese woth everything on it plus hot peppers, an order of French fries with salt, pepper, ketchup, and 3 wings with fried rice with mambo sauce on everything. Plus I got an extra container of mambo sauce for dipping.
