The hotel was closed and we were traveling in the aftermath of a snow storm. Looked for a place to stop for the night in the middle of no where. They weren't expecting any guests or had any. They opened up the hotel for us. Super friendly, easy to book, clean, comfortable beds, and bathrooms. This is a gem!! The only bad part for us was that it was just a quick over night stop. Would have loved to hear and see the history of the hotel, town and to get to know the people who live here.

Our room at the Hotel Wilber was wonderfully quaint and impeccably clean. We appreciated the convenience of having a sink within the room, and the shared bathrooms were spotless. What truly struck us was the unique character of this historic hotel, with each of the 11 rooms individually decorated by a local family, adding a lovely personal touch to our stay.

Did not stay there, but visited their during the Czech Festival on August 2nd through, and 8 roasted duck with green beans and sauerkraut and dumplings and kolache the food was good. The hotel is interesting, but it was all Madness over this weekend because they had a Miss Czech contest and other things going on. The town was very busy with a lot of visitors. But it was an interesting experience, and I will go back to Wilbur again sometime after this summer's holidays are over so that I can experience more of the town.

The hotel has so much old school charm. It's like being able to spend the night in a museum. Yes, it's dated but I still love it. The rooms were decorated by families from Wilbur. So each room is distincttly different and unique. I don't think there's anywhere else like it. It was clean and quiet and the atmosphere felt like they already knew us when we arrived.

This was my third stay and I was not disappointed but since it's an historic hotel with shared bathroom facilities the attention to the details can't be forgotten for a moment. I had to ask for hand and bath towels. We had a sink in our room but no hand towels. The edge of the carpets next to the walls had not been vacuumed nor had the furniture been dusted. It's advertised as a Bed and Breakfast but cereal and milk was all that was offered for breakfast, might want to rethink that. The Cellar Bar is great, the bartender knows how to make most anything you request and it's always good. I'd stay there again, my husband is iffy.
