Hotel Moloka'i

Rating this hotel was hard because I loved the experience there, but there were some quirks that make me hesitate to say it was five stars for me.||First of all - it’s Moloka’i so if you’re looking for a classic Hawaiian resort you won’t find it here. That’s my lens for the review - knowing a visit to Moloka’i is part adventure and definitely not a pampering trip. ||We rented an ocean view suite for reference and had two kids with us (4 and 6).||Pros:|1) stunning, beautiful, relaxing scenery - property is well taken care of and the views are amazing without feeling manufactured.|2) the staff was SO KIND and helpful |3) the pool had perfect views for relaxing while the kiddos jumped around |4) the kitchen was perfectly functional for cooking basic meals and the lanai was lovely for eating t

Small rooms, yet in nice buildings. The area looks nice, but the staff is completely absent. Restaurant was closed. Located at the sea, but dirty beach, so swimming not possible! Chickens and cats walking all over the place. I was really disappointed with this Hotel, as time was limited and I wanted to enjoy the amenities on sight more, which was not possible.

Positive: Absolutely nothing ! Negative: We paid $--- and we got an ?ocean front? room with ants, other insects, and it was an old rundown room! Everything was creaky, covered in 8 layers of paint. They used an ultra wide angle lens on the pics- it is tiny room. I regretted booking there!

One of the very few nice places on the Island for dinner. Good food, fresh, drinks, good service. We had a nice table right by the water with live music which was great. A local signer and guitar player which were really good. Potentially this is the beat place if you want a nicer restaurant in Molokai

This quaint hotel was great and quiet. It is close to town but you still have to drive to town from there. There is a beach but it has a lot of ocean debris on it such as seaweed and other organic material. The staff was helpful and friendly and the restaurant was very nice as well.
