Hot Tails

This place is a MUST for a Cajun food stop!I got the fish platter and a side of onion rings. Their steak fries are delicious & seasoned, the fish has a unique, more flaky batter, and the onion rings will make you slap your mama right there. The seasoning on all is spot-on for Cajun food- VERY flavorful, and leaves a little kick in your mouth afterward. Hubby got a cup of crawfish etoufee and loved it. I think we could’ve ordered anything and loved it. Not a fancy restaurant, but perfect for family, casual date night, or a gathering of friends. They even have an outdoor porch eating area. We’re lucky to have this little hidden gem in Zachary!

Cute little restaurant in Zachary. Love the live edge tables. Service was friendly. Food was good bordering in great. Shrimp were not cleaned on the Grilled Shrimp with Veggies (Also asked for easy butter and the plate had way more than desired) but tasty. The Shrimp Po Boy was delicious! ORDER THE ROOM APP...BUT BECAREFUL THEY ARE HOT INSIDE! Super happy gentleman stopped at tables to check on meals and received feedback.

Food was great!! Everything was seasoned to perfection, made in a timely manner, with excellent customer service. The only reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars, was the cold onion rings… but they were still delicious. I was on a time crunch, so I couldn’t have them remade.

Decor is minimum. TVs for sport fans. Ordered pork chop sandwich, onion rings, roast beef sandwich and a cup of etouffee. The sandwiches were large. Pork chop had great crunch; however, after taste was off and we could not figure out the spice. The roast beef was divine but the bread fell apart and I ate it with a fork and knife. Onion rings were decent and so were the fries. Etouffee was pretty good. The roast beef by itself is wonderful!!

The food was fantastic. A must try the crawfish Effouffee with grits and an egg on top. The crayfish bread. Pecan cheese cake
